Albert's Jamaican

Hmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm, the hype is well deserved.

The oxtail is something else. So succulent and soft. The gravy is mouth watering delicate and spiced just right. The coleslaw was the surprise hit. Creamy with a dash of pepper. Complements the rice and peas for the perfect cold weather comfort food. The only small concern is the price. At $9 for the small meal, it's not cheap. But you get what you pay for! :)

This was at the St. Clair and Vaughan location by the way. They are run by the same people at Queen West, right?

Next on the "to do list" is to try the fried chicken. Quite a few people asking for it.
