We finally had the privilage to go to this restaurant and all I can say is what a letdown. The waitstaff was very arrogant, maybe because I'm of color. I had black truffles that looked like they would be great but they just weren't. The scallops with caviar were very tasty yet just didn't meet my expectations. For the next course(main) I had halibut and it was overly dry and very flaky. The wine was great probably because they didn't make it. The dessert was outstanding and probably saved the evening. We were so hungry afterwards the four of us went back to Harlem and had gizzards and chitlins. Overall it was a great experience but we will stick to our types of food. Maybe Alaine should open a soul food restaurant.
