I bought some fresh, wild, sea scallops (the big ones) from Trader Joe's today and all it says is to pan fry them in a lightly oiled pan or broil them or grill them, but I don't have a grill. Nothing about time or temperature! I have never cooked scallops before and cooking seafood freaks me out. I am worried about the whole line between undercooked/overcooked. Is there much leeway between the two? Anyway, I was thinking of pan frying. Can someone tell me how to cook these without ruining them? I'm too poor to make a mistake.
