So one of my goals this year is to eat at as many of the regional Chinese restaurants in the Richmond (specifically Outer Richmond) as possible. My question to the learned masses on Chowhound is what should I order for each region? I've been to some places and ended up with some boring food since I'm not well-versed in what the region is known for. For example, at Panda Country Kitchen, I got the ma-po tofu, which I LOVED, but was saddened by the onion cake. Or at San Tung, I love the original dry fried chicken wings and shrimp and leek dumplings, but not too excited by the mushu. Or at Shanghai House, loved the Sparerib noodle soup and soup dumplings, but morose over green onion cake (again). Thanks!
Edit: I guess what I'm asking for is a recommendation for what's representitive for each region. And I'm interested in new places in the Richmond, always looking for something different.
