Thanks to all of you who helped us with recs. for restaurants in Beverly Center area. My family and I are from San Francisco and enjoyed each of the places. Although it was raining ( a lot) we ventured out the first morning for rolls and coffee to the B & L Bakery on 3rd. Delicious apple tart and rolls! I prefer more robust coffee so stopped off at nearby Coffee Bean.Lunch spots tried were Mauro's Fred Segal(great nicose salad and chicken sandwich with aoeli type dressing?) which daughters loved. Found that spot when we enjoyed dinner night before at Moustache Cafe. Husband ordered steak and frites there which he raved about the whole trip. My favorite was brownie at The Farm in the Grove-yum and glad i bought some for long drive back home.Another breakfast was enjoyed at the Sofitel hotel,GIGI, with great omelettes and rolls! Tuesday night went in search of Rose Bowl floats and had dinner in Pasadena at City Thai, great pad thai and chicken curry! Thanks again "chowhounds" from my entire family. We had a great time exploring new haunts!
