Addicted to "Ham Yar"

Today I went to Thai Kitchen in Burbank again... It's become a regular Saturday pilgrimage. Saturday is the day they make Ham Yar, the most amazing Thai curry I've ever had. It's kind of a cross between a red curry and a mussaman, with ground chicken. It's served over white rice noodles about the size of spaghetti, and they have a special garnish for it. I'm totally addicted to the stuff!

The owner of Thai Kitchen (who owns another Thai retaurant in Simi Valley near the DMV) says that she has only seen Ham Yar on menus in Thailand... never over here. Is there anywhere in the Valley where they make it on days other than Saturday?

I highly recommend the lunch buffet at Thai Kitchen. It's all you can eat for $6.99 and there's a different curry every day of the week. I'm up to three days a week there now!

See ya
Steve
