Help! Added too much chardonnay....

eekxitsem | Nov 15, 201504:21 PM     2

So I wanted to make my favorite pasta dish... it's just white wine, chicken broth, chicken, broccoli and sun dried tomatoes...garlic, basil, salt and pepper. I added an entire 16 oz can of chicken broth and probably close to a cup of the white wine, but after the fact my parents told me it only calls for 1/4 C of wine. Since there was so much liquid in the pot I just cooked the pasta in it, so there isn't any liquid left in the pot.

Anyways, what can I add to make the dish not taste like the wine!?
Side note: I also forgot to add the white wine before I poured a little bit of chicken broth in the pot! Good grief, someone just hit me over the head- this was a total fail!

Anyway I can make the leftovers a success?

Thank you.
