I want to add little meatballs to my pho tonight. Any tips on doing this?

We're having pho tonight. Broth was made and extra frozen. I have some sirloin that I'll use but got to thinking about adding some small meatballs to it also. First I don't know what, if anything, to add to the home ground beef. Then I don't know how to cook them. Bake first, then add to the bowl when ready to serve? Any suggestions will be appreciated. TIA
