Acme Bread Now Open in the Ferry Building

Gary Soup | Jun 3, 200307:06 PM     14

Today I wandered down to the Ferry Building at lunchtime to check out the Tuesday Market for the first time since the move. The positive thing is that it doesn't get tangled up with the jewelry and craft vendors at Justin Herman Plaza. The negative thing is that it looks kind of puny because, well, it doesn't get tangled up with the jewelty and craft vendors any more.

The real news, I guess, is that Acme Bread is now open daily in its permanent spot inside the Ferry Building, effective yersterday. (At least that's what a, er, sandwich board outside said, and Acme was there both inside and outside today.)
