Ace Wasabis Highs and Lows

Went to Ace Wasabi's in Marina District last night.

Some very well prepared, quite good items, some rotten fish, relatively high prices and generally below average service.

Miso Cod - buttery, well prepared with eggplant and shredded beets- eggplant was not listed on recipe, but it was properly cooked and tasty!

Albacore- Fresh, good

Maguro - Large pieces of tuna on individual sushi. Fresh.

Yellowtail Collar - overcooked to mush, fish smelled very poorly, was obviously not fresh, and almost rank... this dish almost spoiled our meal completely.

Crab roll with Macademia - reasonable.. something different.

Jalapeno Roll - So overspiced that the
fish was undetectable/tasteable cold mush.
