I'm from DC and heading to NYC next week for a business lunch. Not knowing the city very well, I called the concierge at my clients hotel for a recommendation (they are staying at the Shoreham). He recommended Abboccatto as a reasonably priced place that would be quiet enough for us to have a business conversation while enjoying a pleasant meal. Is this accurrate? Any other suggestions?
The criteria are (in order of priority):
1 - Proximity to the Shoreham Hotel
2 - Quiet enough to have conversation
3 - Reasonable in price - I'm a non-profit and this is a potential funder lunch, so I can't look like I have money to throw around on lunch, but I also don't want to look like I don't have good taste
4 - Good food
Any other ideas?
Thanks for your help!
