Caught an early ferry on Thursday from Central to Lamma Island and walked the path from Yung Shue Wan to Sok Kwu Wan. This is a pretty touristy thing to do but mid-week there ain't no one around.
Highly recommend the steamed abalone at Rainbow Seafood Restaurant at trail's end and a few cold beers.
Included in my set menu lunch for two were steamed prawn, the scrumptious abalone, baked lobster, fried squid, baby bok-choi, killer fried rice with shrimp and chicken and the ripest fruit imaginable. Best $50 U.S. I've spent in a long time (drinks/tip extra). They'll even shuttle you back to Central (for free) on their own yacht.
