A16 REPORT

finally i made my way to A16! we made reservations for tonight at 5:30pm ( nice & early because we were bringing our 6 month old baby ) we got there a little early to check out the space and make sure the stroller/baby/highchair action was going to be OK. the hostess was VERY nice and said everything would be fine, and she put us in the back, the atrium part out of everyones way where we had plenty of space.

there were 6 of us...

going in, i knew from reading all these posts i was going to LOVE it or go out thinking " whats the fuss?" well- all 6 of us loved it!

we ordered 2 bottles of wine, a white and a red: capichera ( $47 ) and barone di villgrnd sciara, ($42 ) both very tasty.

for apps we only had 3: the burrata, eggplant parmesan, and olives. all TASTY! i told everyone when we sat down we had to order the burrata from all your recommendations ( should have gotten 2 of them! ) eggplant parm was so awesome too.

entrees:
short rib special
lamb
almond crusted cod
macceronara pasta dish
margherita pizza add prociuttio
funghi pizza add prosciutto

we all shared, loved everything. i especially loved the cod & lamb

dessert:
2 chocolate & orange napoleans
apple crostada
plum cake
semifreddo

total with tax & tip = $320

i LOVED A16. the hostess was great, loved the space, loved the food, our server was awesome...water always filled...bread always warm and refilled..very happy!

friday night- piperade. solo, no baby- very excited :)
