8 diners out in chinatown

Professor Chow | Mar 25, 2006 09:44 PM

I'm organizing an extended family dinner for this coming Friday in Chinatown that will have 8 people from 3 generations, all of us out of staters. Hoping to eat as well--and interestingly--as possible without going to some place with really high end prices. Can't take this crew for Szechuan or Hunan. Can eat (would love) fresh seafood, as long as the place has some familiar dishes for a couple who won't touch seafood. Ideally, the place would take reservations. These are not my ideal constraints, but...they're what we've got. Chowhound has yet to fail me in Manhattan and I'm hoping for another delicious night out. Where should we eat? Thanks!
