One of my best girls is turning 50 in a couple of weeks and I'd like to take her out to celebrate (passing the point of no return---ha!). I'm in Ktown and she's on the border of Weho/BH. So ideally something here or there or between here and there (no BH or Sunset Strip).
I suggested Connie & Teds because I haven't been (and as a former Bostonian was looking forward to some clams w/ bellies), but she was luke warm to the idea saying that she's heard mixed reviews (she suggested BOA, but I'm luke warm to that).
I'm thinking that either dinner or brunch (maybe Petrossian?) would be nice. Someplace that we could talk and catch up (so no ear splitting noise). She's more into scene-y and I'm more into food---since this one's on me it's going to be about food.
Personally, I would like to go someplace like Park's, Connie & Teds, maybe Hatfields, or??? I could use some suggestions. As far as budget---$100pp would be great (wine included--glasses, not a bottle more than likely), but can spend a bit more. A weekend lunch could be a possibility as well.
