5-Star Punjabi DIAPER

Steve A. | Apr 24, 2003 10:05 PM

We've worked with the various sketchy scents of the Punjabi 5-star diner countless times -- because the food has always been reliable and good.

But the last 2 or 3 times, the food has taken a noticeable dive. The chicken didn't taste so fresh and those excellent sauces (like the butter chicken) have been a bit off.

You have to wonder about what they are covering up with constant doucing of amonia.

And I think they never change the cleaning water they are constantly rolling across the floor. It's a documented fact: amonia + old water = a dirty diaper smell.

You gotta wonder what's going on in the back, as far as sanitary conditions...and what's going on underneath. Sometimes it seems as if this place was built on an ancient diaper burial ground.

Maybe a toxic waste dump?

I was a former BIG FAN -- but I'm never going back.

Yours, thorougly skeeved.
