Someone, somewhere, not that long ago posted about 3rd and Eats, the deli-style place on 3rd and E NW where homeless folks go to work and learn commercial cooking.
That's all I can say. I had to file some papers at judiciary square metro today - I stopped in and had a Roast turkey, mushroom and cheese omelette for $2.75 (!!!) that was one of the best I can remember eating. The biscuits ($.65!!!) were also fresh and really good. Everything was super cheap and delicious - VERY chowish place and I was really happy to have heard of it.
Thanks again, to whomever! Everyone else - I recommend it if you're around.
