We will be spending the upcoming weekend (Friday - Monday) in Madrid before heading down to the Costa Blanca. 2 foodie couples that are a little tired of ulatra modern fancy places who are looking for good, local cooking in moderate price levels. We would appreciate sampling classic places along modern cool takes on classic food.
We will be staying in an apartment in Calle Ruiz in Malasana.
This are the recommendations I picked up so far from here and from people I know frequently visit Madrid - Would love to hear what's not to miss from this list (and whats possible so skip), where should we reserve and if there are places which are better for lunch / dinner.
- Casa Lucas
- Casa Lucio
- Cisne Azul
- La Gabinoteca
- Estado Puro
- El Neru
- Las Tortillas de Gabino
And if there any other "musts" we would love to hear. Many Thanks!!!
