Very impressive first visit to 27 from the Bar Lab/Broken Shaker team. You already knew that the cocktail program was going to be strong and they are taking good seriously too. It's located at the Freehand Hotel in an adjacent house that they renovated. Great space and great service too. They are starting brunch this weekend which I'm sure will be a huge.
The three dishes I had were executed perfectly and had really nice flavors.
- Griot & Pickliz, crispy pork shoulder & spicy slaw.
- Goat cheese gnocchi, sorrel pesto, mint.
- Pumpkin Swordfish, coconut-curry, Israeli couscous, avocado.
