I am amazed at how realistic the "meats" are at Vegetarian Paradise!
So far I've tried the "mahi-mahi", the "Peking ribs", the "crispy fried fish", the "beef teriyaki" and the "chicken tenders". Yes, there will always be one element that is a giveaway for the vegetable origin (whether it's color or texture), but generally the facsimiles are pretty right-on. There's not much of an atmosphere in the restaurant; I've mostly been ordering in. Another plus is the juice menu. I like the pineapple ginger.
The only thing I would change is this: I think they should get some real tea instead of tea bags. It would be wonderful to order a nice fresh-brewed jasmine tea...jasmine tea bags often produce brownish, stale tea. I also feel funny paying $3 for what is mostly a pot of hot water!
