22nd Street Landing - Last Night

WLA | Feb 23, 2004 09:54 AM

Our second time and we felt a little crazy to be driving down from West LA to San Pedro in the rain, but that's what makes life interesting, doing the unexpected.

I really like this place. The food is good, the prices are fair and the casual but nice looking room all add to the pleasure of eating here. They also have a talented bar tender who makes some of the best cocktails we have had. My wife had a mai-tai last night, really good and I had two lemon drops, also top notch.

The teen weasel came with us, and for three entrees, (crab stuffed sea bass for the weasel, shrimp and tomato topped Alaska Halibut for me and the crab louie for my wife, along with a giant bucket of steamed clams with an excellent broth for dipping the bread and crab cakes for me, (the only miss of the evening) the tab came to $115, plus tip.

I just wish I lived closer.
