Restaurants & Bars 2

224 Boston

Had dinner with friends last evening at 224 Boston in Dot. Place was packed but we got a seat in a pretty reasonable amount of time and had a good meal, started with cod cakes, a touch too much remulade but well made, served on crappy small bread plates though. My friend had a chicken liver pate that he said was very good (he is a former fine dining chef so I put some weight to his comments.) I followed with a roasted chicken with garlic mash and a mushroom reduction that was damn tasty. Pretty good wine list, we had Duxoup Charbono from Sonoma $33.00 fairly reasonable. A good experience as I love to support independents. Any other comments on this place?
