Has anybody else been to this place? Last Sunday I went for the first time, and found this place to be a solid eatery that has plenty of business even on a Sunday night near Pacbell Park on a none-game night.
They have house brewed microbrews, listed by alcoholic content. According to my husband and the waitress, their Anniversary Ale seems to be the most popular.
We had a difficult choice in making our selection, many things seemed yummy. In the end we ordered their sweet potato straws, grilled halibit with snow peas and risotto, grilled squid, and a bacon cheese burger.
Both the burger and the grilled squid had a nice smoky flavor, almost seems like them were grilled on a charcol grill. The fried sweet potatoe straw were needle thin (just like Zuni's fries) and not a drop of grease on the whole batch. Sweet, salty, and crunchy, they were a great subsititue for regular fries.
Later that night I realized I made the mistake of ordering their seafood special on a Sunday night. Fortunately for me, I suffered no ill effects, and the fish was delicious despite Kitchen Confidential's advice.
For dessert we ordered home made brownie and espresso geleato. Chewy and chocolaty, the dessert was a perfect finish to a satisfying dinner.
Overall the price was reasonable, the service was friendly. On a Sunday night, parking was stress free, will definitly go back again.
