The $20 Sub and other delights at G&M Carryout, Linthicum MD

After spending the last week literally just up the street from G&M Carryout, I have only this to say--this place is AWESOME! I'm talking specifically about the carry-out part of G&M, not the sit-down restaurant next door. The restaurant always has a line whereas the carryout allows you to cut right to the chase. We're talking huge seafood subs--fried shrimp, scallop, oysters, fried fish, CRABcake--foot-long or better monsters with at least a pound of fish on 'em. The top of the line, priced at $20, is the crabcake model, which features two 8 oz. jumbo lump mounds, the same as those served next door. The other fish subs are also loaded up, but run only 7-8 bucks. They also crank out a damn fine-looking steak and cheese sub, but I couldn't pass on all the seafood options. It's worth a drive from wherever you happen to be.
