As a part of our trip to Scotland (thanks for all the info below), we have two layovers in Paris. The first is 12 hours at Charles de Gaulle on Monday. The second will be four days (8/4 - 8/7) post-Scotland. The layovers indicate the pain and pleasure of frequent flyer mile travel.
Any recommendations for around or in de Gaulle? I've seen one post below and I don't think we want to risk heading into Paris since we are going to be back.
Our four days on the back end will be spent at farmer's markets, kitchen stores and cafes or inexpensive bistros. We are staying in the 7th at the Hotel Verneuil thanks to a rec from howard and others on the not about food board. We have gleaned quite a few places from the board, but want to post one final time to see if we can draw out any other gems.
Thanks for any and all of your help.
