Has anybody been to A recently (Columbus b/w 106 & 107)? I haven't been in about six months.
Great, VERY inexpensive food in a tiny space. I think the chef's name is Mark; I think he is French-trained, but his cuisine is also marked largely by his Caribbean background.
Does he still only have three toaster ovens and a crock-pot with which he makes everything? The guy is unreal. The "kitchen" is roughly the size of an elevator, yet he turns out solid stuff like duck confit and jerk pork chops. The menu changes frequently and it's BYO, which keeps cost down. Feel free to bring him (and his wife, Blue, the server) some wine as well. I remember their being Cotes du Rhone fans.
I'm interested to hear how it's going and if he's still cranking out great food with his bare bones setup.
