$15 limit West L.A.--how about Nanbankan?

Pat | Nov 4, 200408:55 PM

My friend is on a tighter budget than I am. I live in Santa Monica, she lives in the Valley but will be coming from around the County Museum, so the logical place to meet for a 5:30 dinner would seem to be West L.A. or Brentwood. I haven't been to Nanbankan in years (and probably never ordered the right stuff), but I see so many raves on this board that I thought of it. She doesn't want to spend more than $15--if not Nanbankan, what other suggestions do you have in the area. I really like Little Hong Kong Cafe, which is amazingly cheap, but I order to go from there all the time.

I do know the low end San Vicente places pretty well, so leaving those aside, what else is good on Sawtelle or nearby--if Nanbankan is too pricey.

Thanks a bunch folks!
