100 King

So I just had an engagement party at 100 King and I wanted to give them a shout out because they did an outstanding job. We had a tight budget, but their good and not overly expensive wine list really helped to make sure we could have enough beverages for everyone all night. The passed appetizers were really good and everyone went on about them, yeah yeah I even liked the mini-crab cakes, though too small to REALLY critique.

The upstairs space was so pretty and elegant and the space was big enough to accommodate all our guests nicely and the upstairs bathroom made the space very much our own. The servers were so gracious and nice, they were patient with our older guests, made sure food got to everyone without interupting conversations and even poured ones tea and etc when he looked akwardly at the pot. They made sure glasses were filled and already people are raving about the party.

We then had an intimate dinner with the family. The crab rigatone was ok, wouldn't go back for it, but had big lumps of crab. I had the diver sea scallops which were great. They came with a lemon risotto I was uneasy about on the menu, but turned out good, really good, I also got part of a side of the gruyere mac and cheese which was the hands down best part of the meal, and asparagus which was good.

Anyway overall it was excellent, they were really nice to work with and the food was good, and their wine list is great. they would get back to me via email for the planning and were just great at making everything we wanted happen. Just thought I would put it out there for anyone look for places for large private events spaces.
