Need help for 1 day visit to Napa or Sonoma.. Father/Son

Lord Griffin | Oct 4, 200501:38 AM     2

Hi all. when my father visits this week he wants to go to napa or sonoma... im planning to go on sunday (the only day we have time). He has been to napa before and wants to go to vineyards where there arent many people and have great tours. Originally i was planning to take him to Schramberger, Frank Family, and Sterling in Napa... but im worried about the crowds there. How much farther is Sonoma? if were planning on doing 3 vineyards and then making it back to san fran by 7 for dinner can we do sonoma? if so what vineyards... if we stay in napa what 3 vineyards there will have the most privacy away from the hordes? Ideally we want 1 really great educational tour, 1 just plain beautiful vineyard, and 1 great all-around with good cheap tastings. thanks so much for the help...
