I'll be visiting Philly for the first time w/ my boyfriend. We know the city has fabulous food, but we've only one weekday evening free for dinner, and don't want to overspend. We both love Asian and African flavors, as well as good seafood and steak -- but perhaps French remains the city's most (quint)essential cuisine? -- and if so where? Please recommend something in the below-$40/head range. Many thanks.
