Best/Easiest Way to Reheat a Whole Turkey

Philly Ray | Oct 27, 201306:56 AM

Looks like there will only be about five of us for Thanksgiving dinner this year, so I'm trying to decide if I want to cook the meal myself or take advantage of some of the take out options available.

One restaurant is offering a 15 lb smoked turkey with gravy, sides, etc., but you have to pick it up the day before.

So how would you reheat it? Should I just stick the whole thing in the oven on Thursday and use a probe thermometer until it reaches 165 (or some other temperature)? With that method, I'm afraid of drying it out since it is already cooked.

Or, should I break it down, slice the breast meat, and reheat that in the gravy on the stove and then reheat the wings, thighs, and drumsticks in the oven?
