Whether it's wine, liqueur, or the hard stuff, liquor can add a dimension to the flavor profile of your dishes — from savory to sweet — when used in moderation. (Except for fruitcake. That's about excess anyway). For dessert, you could do an orange-flavored cheesecake topped with vodka-marmalade glaze. Then again, moderation is over-rated.
