As you can guess from the name, the specialty of Carnitas Sandoval is, well, carnitas. Not only that, but a range of carnitas, says ShannonClark: ribs, shoulder, even skin … OK, that probably counts as chicharrones. Still, “this is a place that knows what they do well and sticks to it. Nothing fancy, cheap prices, great flavor.”
