Ah, Burger King. It’s got apple fries, a $200 burger, and even Gordon Ramsay’s vote, and now it has a series of cartoons from Family Guy creator
Seth MacFarlane. The skits, like the one posted below, open with an animated King character, but otherwise have nothing to do with the fast-food chain. Go figure.

Fast Food News says there will be two new cartoons added each week and calls this MacFarlane media stunt “an innovative, and funny, way for BK to set itself apart in the fast food realm.” You can view all the cartoons on BK’s YouTube site, where you can also enter a sweepstakes to win the chance to buy MacFarlane dinner. That is, you’re paying, but BK will help you foot the bill. Here’s the fine print:

Prize: One (1) Grand Prize … consists of round-trip coach air transportation for winner and guest to destination city (as determined by Sponsor) from a single major U.S. airport nearest to winner’s home (as determined by Sponsor), standard double occupancy hotel accommodations for two (2) nights, a visit to a BURGER KING® restaurant (as determined by Sponsor), ground transfers to/from the airport and hotel in destination city and to/from the hotel and selected BURGER KING® location, and a $50 BK™ Crown Card for the winner to purchase the BURGER KING® meal for Seth MacFarlane.
