Good news for all the dudes out there who never really got into PowerBars or protein shakes—Men’s Health has listed the health-giving properties of six naughty treats. Top of the list? Pork rinds:

A 1-ounce serving contains zero carbohydrates, 17 grams (g) of protein, and 9 g fat. That’s nine times the protein and less fat than you’ll find in a serving of carb-packed potato chips. Even better, 43 percent of a pork rind’s fat is unsaturated, and most of that is oleic acid—the same healthy fat found in olive oil.

Ummm … you lost me at “1-ounce serving.” I’m not a pork rinds gal myself, but I’ve never been good at portion control when it comes to junk food. Men’s Health also says you can consume alcohol in moderation (it might lower your risk for a heart attack) and snack on beef jerky between meals (because it’s “high in protein and doesn’t raise your level of insulin”). Full-fat sour cream in small doses, a spare handful of shredded, unsweetened coconut, and 100-calorie chocolate bars are fine, too.

In other words, pretty much anything is OK in moderation. But even as a sensible, health-conscious eater, I like a good Fritos binge on occasion, and I love me a Snickers bar now and then.
