The website for London restaurant Sketch commits almost all of the crimes that our Roxanne Webber railed against in “The Four Most Annoying Restaurant Website Design Flaws.” It has a slow, irritating Flash intro. It plays discordant music and emits weird noises. It really, really makes you work to find basic info, with headings that actually evade your cursor when you try to click on them. AND there are about 10 different places to find menus, and each of them is a PDF file you must download. All that being said, however, isn’t it just pretty? The beautiful wash of colors that splashes down your desktop when you click on a menu is worth at least a few minutes of listening to the clicks and bloops on the irritating soundtrack.
