Peekytoe crabs are fun to order by name, but are they anything special? Barbarella thinks they’re great, with a different texture from blue claws. They’re especially recommended for salads.

MakingSense, however, thinks they’re just OK, more expensive than the local blue crabs, but not particularly remarkable. Essentially, it’s marketing—you’re paying for the cute name.
