Foreign Cinema‘s brunch is epic, and so is the wait. Insiders know that you can order from FC’s brunch menu at the adjacent bar, Laszlo, and a recent Chowhound discussion reveals that the same goes for dinner.
Chowhound mariacarmen visited in mid-May and says that Laszlo serves its own bar-bites menu along with Foreign Cinema’s full menu from 5 to 10 p.m. The chunky brandade with toasted bread (pictured) hit the nail on the head, as did the crispy pork belly. Other successes included a paper-thin carpaccio with tarragon and house-cured sardines. For refined food in an informal atmosphere, with great cocktails to boot, Lazlo’s a keeper.
