The most memorable dish from a recent dineLA Restaurant Week lunch at Yojisan was the green tea pudding, PeterCC says. It has the consistency of panna cotta, with a subtle caramel sauce that marries wonderfully with the matcha—PeterCC would order it again in a heartbeat. The lobster gratinar was also wonderful, yogacat says, though the sushi ranges from pretty standard to wonderful, PeterCC says. Ibodai in particular was great: mildly fatty, and deeply flavored. Iwashi (sardine) was incredibly soft, with a sweet yet unctuous flavor. Like many of PeterCC’s favorites, these were on the specials menu, which is likely to change.
