Unless you grow it yourself, tart sorrel can be hard to find. But hounds who love it say it’s well worth seeking out. sordftr tosses sorrel into mixed green salads (it “adds a surprising bit of lemony bite”) and likes these butter-braised radishes with sorrel. Sorrel pesto is great, says mommystar, who freezes it in ice trays. Keep the color bright by adding a tiny bit of ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
