Seafood Sam's @ Cape Cod
Has anyone here eaten at this seafood mini chain (four locations)? I have used the Chowhound search, but can find no posts. Any comments would be appreciated.

I have never personally eaten at one, but friends of ours eat at the one on route 28 (next to the trampolines and across from A&W) and really love it!

It's a self-service, order-at-the-counter, go-pick-it-up when your number's called sort of place, on paper plates. Beer or wine is pretty pedestrian but available. The one in Falmouth is pretty shiny, but not in an especially scenic place. Fried clams have been variable, sometimes pretty darn good, sometimes ok, but I've never had terrible ones there.

the seafood sam's i always go to, i believe, is on rt. 28 in south yarmouth. if you're heading down rt. 28 toward hyannis it's on the right hand side. down the road from it in one direction is a mcdonalds, a duncan donuts and a job lot and the other way is a pancake house, i think.

I have eaten at the Falmouth (Rt. 28) location numerous times and have never had a bad meal. Excellent fried food, albeit being a chain, and they offer rice pilaf as an alternative to the tired french fries of every other fried food place.

How does Seafood Sam's compare to Kream n'Kone?

I ate at the Sandwich one a couple times two summers ago. First time I had fried lobster, pretty tasty and very reasonably priced.
