We went to HENRY'S END last week for the second time since tthis year's Game Festival began . Our table of four had the best meal we've had in quite a while.
Everything we had was more than outstanding. Roasted Pear Salad and Wild Game Pate were delicious. The Turtle Soup was divine.
The Main Courses were all super yummy. Quail stuffed with Smoked Bacon with Pumpkin Risotto was so delicious, I could go right back for more. Wild Boar Stew with Polenta, excellent. The Mixed Grill, included Wild Boar Belly! And Elk Chops.
The Dessert du Jour was a lovely Pear Crisp served with a big scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream.
If you love Game, and would like to try some wonderful exotic dishes not available elsewhere, I would suggest HENRY'S END. The food is great, and the welcome and service are personal and friendly . Don't forget to ask for your Birthday special. Fill it in and you will receive an invitation for a free entree on your Birthday.
The prices are very reasonable.
