Every year a good friend and I get together for a girls day out. This year we are going to the Warhol exhibit at MOCA. We are going to the exhbit at 2pm on Sunday and she is due to my condo in Sherman Oaks at 11.
What I am looking for is a unique or special place for Sunday brunch in between the two places or in one of the two areas. I don't want to do dim sum in Chinatown and I don't want to have a buffet in a downtown hotel. I also don't want to go to The Pantry. I want something a little more upscale than that.
Other than Pacific Dining Car, can anyone suggest something cool, hip, special, unique, delish in SFV to Downtown? I was hoping to go to Ciudad or another cool downtown restaurant but I am discovering not much is open downtown for Sunday Brunch other than hotels and dim sum, so I've expanded my search to include the area between SFV and downtown.
Thanks in advance
