I was going to post this in the Costco thread but I find that thread so unwieldy now to navigate with the 500+ posts.
I just saw and bought this olive oil at the Downsview Costco last week. It was 2 x 1 litre bottles for $11.89. The label says 'Organic Terra Delyssa Extra Virgin Tunisian Olive Oil'. It has all the right attributes - dark glass (ie not plastic) bottle, packed date and best before date and Lot #.
I only buy olive oil, or any food for that matter, in glass bottles (as God knows what is leaching into the contents when they are constantly in contact with plastic even if it is so-called 'food grade') and usually buy the 'Il Grezzo Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil' (2 x 1L) for heating and the Kirkland Extra Virgin Olive Oil (1L) for salads and dipping. The Terra Delyssa is less expensive than the Kirkland brand per bottlle and more expensive than the Il Grezzo. It has a less peppery finish than the Kirkland brand and overall I like its taste better. Being organic is a big bonus.
