Just had an amazing lunch at Tacos Mexico in Framingham. (Although on the sign it the 'T' in Tacos is a stylized cactus making it look like the name of the place is Yacos Mexico.) Regardless of the signage, these were some of the best, if not the best, tacos we have had in the States. Certainly I haven't had better in Massachusetts. Very authentic seasoned meats, with onion and lots of fresh cilantro, in two corn tortillas. (I know the number of tortillas is a deciding factor for some posters on the board). Each taco is $1.50. Also great homemade salsas (both red and green). The menu also offers authentic mexican breakfasts, as well as tortas and burritos. They also had some sweet Mexican breads today, but these are not made by them and don't know where they came from, but delicious and identical to what we have had in Mexico.
We were there at lunch time today and were the only customers, so hopefully they make it. They've only been open a few months. The are at 144 Waverly Street in Framingham, I think where Bill's Grill used to be. (Just about a block down from the Aztec, close to the Natick/Framingham line).
The place is not very big, so not sure how it would work if you are a large group. (There are about 8 counter seats, and about three tables that hold two people each). But we are glad to no longer need to make the drive into E. Boston for good Mexican food, and hope others find them equally excellent.
