I am looking for suggestions in selecting a French restaurant for a special B-Day for my wife next Saturday. We will be staying near the Saint Germain des Pres metro stop. Some place close by would be nice, but we are willing to take a taxi or the metro if need be. My budget is between 150-250 euros ($250-$325). I have a 6 year old daughter who will be with us. She is used to eating out, but we don’t want to end up at a place that is too stuffy or formal where we feel completely out of place with a child. Even though we will have a child with us my priority is taking my wife out for a nice quintessential Parisian dining experience. Unfortunately, we do not speak French, so a place where the staff is helpful in making suggestions would be nice. We are looking to dine at a place that has great French food and ambiance where locals would eat. We would like to avoid places that are overly touristy. Based on the research I have done so far I am considering La Petite Chase, La Ferme Saint Simon, and Chez Josephine Dumonet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
