located in the Jackson Shopping Center at the corner of Jackson-Keller and Vance Jackson. I couldn't find any comments on this site about restaurant, either good or bad. I thought it was extremely good. Small, quiet and elegant, lots of seafood dishes with a variety of sauces. DH said the wine list was very reasonably priced. We were there about 7:30 on a Saturday night and there wasn't much business. For everyone in San Antonio complaining about the lack of nice restaurants, you might try Ernesto's.
Also went to La Fogata and El Jarro. REally liked El Jarro and would go back. Food was excellent and margaritas made like they should be. La Fogata is, in my opinion, all atmosphere and no substance. Margaritas were weak and watery and the food was cold. We went on a Sunday night and it was pretty busy, but El Jarro was also packed and we thought it had much better food.
We were on a house hunting trip north of the city and stayed on the North side off 1604, so didn't get down to the river. Our visit also coincided with the Spurs win, congrats, SA!
