Salsa, New Milford

Another good meal @ Salsa in New Milford.

Cozy booths in their new (not so new by now) digs. The service is always very good--friendly, efficient. Nice selection of beers on tap. Everything well priced. The chef owner is culinary-school trained; and it shows.

We love(underscored) the chipotle salsa. Got some w/ chips to start (I remember chips as better--no idea if imagining wrong here--these were OK).

I order the same dish every time, because it's kind of perfect: combo soup and half of a roasted veg quesadilla , also w/ the chipotle salsa. Last night soup was lima bean & squash--delicious, as always. And the quesadilla was great--veg well roasted, so not mushy, perfect w/ a dab of salsa and sour cream. The half-size is a just-right portion size.

My husband really liked his fish tacos. And my daughter, her veg burrito w/ green salsa (she dipped into my sour cream and chipotle salsa, so perhaps the burrito could have used more of each?).
