We spent a week in Honolulu at the end of March - went several places that were good, the Pineapple Room, apps at the Halekulani HWAK bar, but enjoyed the buffet at the Prince Court in the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki the most! Not being a buffet person it was a surprising but very pleasant experience. Since the hotel has many tourists from Japan, the buffet maintains many Japanese dishes on the buffet daily. Each night there is a different theme - the night we went featured prime rib and it was excellent - sliced to order, rolled in sea salt and coarse pepper. There were many other entrees and salads available. There is a sushi station that had two types being made up at the moment so it was super fresh. The buffet was extensive and the quality of the food was far above the norm.If there were any possible room for dessert, the star of that table was the bread pudding, still warm, with creme anglaise sauce to pour over - it was delectable and wonderful! I could see just eating a big bowl of that and calling it a night (no, but it was really good.)
The restaurant is on the 3rd floor, overlooking the marina. We reserved and came right at 6:00 pm so were able to get a great table facing the marina. I would highly recommend it!
