Went to Pig and Whistle 2 weeks ago-
Still to new to give a full review, but...
LOUD room, huge projection TV on one wall.
Menu is both standard and eclectic - on one hand great chicken wings, and on the other fun pigs ears (somewhat like deep fried bacon). Apps also included smelt (owner/chef Vaughn is from the great lakes...yes that guy from Portage) which were pretty good.
Our table had mains of Suckling Pig which was ok, but the red cabbage served with it rocked. A rib steak ( which was a bit fatty) A pasta - that was uninspired, and a really good gnochhi.
While I don't think I'll go back for specifically for dinner anytime soon, I can sure see myself stopping by with some friends on a Sat/Sun afternoon to watch a football game, have some beers and wings, and maybe then sticking around for dinner.
